Copyright is an institution of civil law, which is associated with the regulation of legal relations regarding the creation and use of works of science, literature and art. It should be emphasized that the scope of copyright is currently expanding significantly due to the development of the Internet and digitalization (websites, mobile applications, etc.).( intellsob.kz).
Copyright consists of the non-property (moral) right of the author and the property right to use the work, which the author can transfer to other persons.
In Kazakhstan, copyright is regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 10, 1996 No. 6-1 "On Copyright and Related Rights".
The subject of copyright is a natural person , whose creative work created works of science , literature and art . It is the author who has copyright, that is, non-property and property rights to the work that was created by his creative work.
The objects of copyright are works of science, literature and art. You can designate the following forms of expression of objects of copyright: written (manuscript, typescript, musical notation, etc.); oral (public pronunciation and performance, etc.); sound or video recording (mechanical, digital, magnetic, optical, etc.); images (drawing, sketch, painting, plan, drawing, film, TV video, photo frame, etc.); volume-spatial (sculpture, model, model, building, etc.).
The author of a work, as the owner of copyright, has the right to perform the following actions:

- reproduce the work;
- distribute the original or copies of the work in any way:
Sell, change, rent and perform other operations; - publicly display and perform the work;
- bring works to the public, etc.
Official documents of state bodies and local self-government bodies, official documents of international organizations, as well as their official translations are not objects of copyright. Also objects of copyright are state symbols and signs (flags, coats of arms, orders, banknotes, etc.). Works of folk art (folklore) that do not have specific authors do not apply to copyright.
Copyright is valid throughout the life of the author and seventy years after his death.
